FAQs
What is upfrontly?
upfrontly is an embedded "get paid early" layer for payout platforms. We provide next-business-day cash by purchasing statement-native receivables (future platform payouts) and repaying automatically from future platform payouts; without changing the platform's payout rails.
Who is upfrontly for, and is it available on my platform?
upfrontly is for creators, developers, studios, promoters, and businesses whose earnings appear in a platform dashboard now but settle later, or who need upfront cash to operate and grow. If you don't see it yet, we may not be live on your platform. Tell your platform you want "get paid early" features, or contact us to explore a partnership.
How does early settlement and repayment work?
For early settlement, users request it inside the platform. upfrontly evaluates the platform's statement data, funds the next business day, and collections occur automatically from future platform payouts. Users typically do not make manual payments; repayment is collected from these payout flows based on the agreed structure.
Do you share platform or user data?
We use platform data to evaluate receivables, service the program, and reconcile collections. Data access and handling are governed by platform agreements and security reviews.
What products do you offer, and how does artist deposit financing work?
We offer two product families. 1) Early settlement: accelerate upcoming platform payouts inside the payout UI via receivables purchase. 2) Ticketing: artist deposit financing embedded into ticketing workflows. For ticketing, promoters request financing inside the platform workflow. Structures are designed to reduce fraud risk (e.g., funds can be paid directly to approved recipients), and collections are structured from promoter payouts as ticket sales occur, while keeping the platform's payout machinery unchanged.
Is upfrontly lending money?
No. upfrontly is structured as a purchase of receivables (early settlement of future platform payouts), not a traditional loan.
Do you support platforms globally, and what’s needed?
Yes, upfrontly is designed for global, statement-based payout ecosystems (app stores, ad networks, creator platforms, ticketing, and more). To integrate, a platform typically needs: (1) statement/data access, (2) 1-2 UI placements, and (3) a payout allocation rule for automated collections. The platform's payout rails and cadence stay the same.
Does this change how the platform pays me?
No. The platform's payout cadence, rails, and accounting remain intact. upfrontly adds an optional "get paid early" action using statement data and payout-based collections.
How fast do I get funds?
Disbursement is next-business-day (not same-day).
What happens if an event is cancelled?
Where offered, event cancellation insurance can be embedded as part of the workflow. Policy terms, triggers, and claims processes are configured with the platform and insurance partners.
Who takes the risk if payouts are lower than expected, and how is this managed?
upfrontly structures the capital stack and provides first-loss capital alongside senior funding partners. The platform does not take balance-sheet credit exposure when it meets agreed operational commitments. We manage risk by evaluating platform statements and payout behavior, using eligibility rules, caps, reserves, and loss buffers. We also maintain loss reserve funds to address payout shortfalls and operational variability.
Do you also offer user acquisition financing?
Yes. We provide user acquisition financing for gaming and content creators
